Hello, my name is Cougar or better known as “Woogie Boogie”.

I was the inspiration for my companion – Denise Naudè – to become a professional dog training instructor.

I stepped into her life as a stray puppy- emaciated, covered in scabs, and absolutely petrified of people. It took a lot of patience and love to find my “zing” again. My companion soon realised that not all doggy schools were “created equal”, some did more harm than good.

Denise was glued to the computer for weeks, researching accredited institutions, and finally enrolled at Pet Sense College, which exclusively represents the United Kingdom`s Compass Education and Training in Africa – Pet Sense College awarded her with a Diploma – “Canine Behaviour & Training Instructor”.

She completed the Ethology Academy`s “Basic Dog Behaviour Course” which is accredited by the South African Veterinary Council.

In doggy years, it felt like an eternity, and woohoo she graduated with distinction.

The knowledge she gained helped to heal my emotional scars. Today, I can cruise on the highway, enjoy a pup cup at a doggy-friendly restaurant, and I so enjoy feeling the wind blow through my hair at park runs.
